A rice cake sweet consisting of small skewered rice dumplings made by steaming, pounding, and smoothening non-glutinous rice sourced from Hokkaido.
Mainly offered in three flavors; Mitarashi soy sauce (a sweet and sticky soy sauce), sesame sauce (a sauce made of ground sesame seeds added with sugar), and red bean paste (a paste made of red beans added with sugar, and then simmered until sweet).
