Daifukumochi is a traditional Japanese rice cake sweet.
It is Ichikyu Daifukudo’ s flagship product.
Daifukumochi is made by wrapping bean paste (made by slowly simmering red beans with sugar) with rice cake (made by steaming glutinous rice and then thoroughly pounding it into a smooth dough).
